Interactive 3D Master Thesis Project

Exploring 3D vs. 2D Product Presentation in E-Commerce

My Master thesis presents the design and evaluation of two interactive e-commerce prototypes: a 3D product viewer and a 2D image-based alternative for premium running shoes. Through iterative, usability-focused testing, the project investigates how different forms of product visualization affect user interaction, confidence, and perceived product value, and reflects on when 3D enhances the shopping experience—and when simplicity performs better.
